Quantum Chess Guides

A reading path from your first pawn push to a revealed-King checkmate.

Written and maintained by Jasper Taylor for Pura Viba LLC · Updated July 30, 2026

Quantum Chess keeps the board, the pieces, and the goal of ordinary chess, then changes the one thing you always took for granted: what the pieces are. Every piece begins as a superposition of all six classical types and becomes definite only as the game measures it. That single change ripples into a game about information — who reveals what, and when. These guides unpack that game one idea at a time. If you have never played, start at the top and read down; if you already know the rules, jump to whatever you want to get better at.
